Well, I would like to open my house at weekends for those of you who wish to embark on a Macrobiotic Lifestyle by giving you the opportunity to enjoy a taste of Macrobiotic Living at a reasonable cost so that you can experience for yourselves, first hand, what it involves.
As an example of what to expect from your all-inclusive experience, I will welcome you to my home on a Friday evening, where we will all enjoy a meal whilst getting to know one another and you can tell me all about your health goals and I can gauge how I may be able to help you realise them through Macrobiotic Living. After our evening meal you are free to join me in the lounge to continue our chat, or alternatively you can retire to your comfy en suite room to watch telly or be left to your own devices to sample the Essex Night Life. Whichever you decide, I look forward to seeing you in my kitchen at 8.30am on Saturday Morning with your apron on ready for your first cookery demonstration and preparation of your breakfast. Depending on how that works out, we will all take breakfast together soon after haa haa! After breakfast I will take you out in my car for a Macrobiotic Shop to show you the types of foods you will need to buy and where you can source them at the lowest cost without compromising quality in local supermarkets, health stores and possibly local Farmer’s Markets. We’ll stop somewhere for a snack and drink and I’ll show you how to cope with eating out of the house. Back home I will continue the shopping list discussion by showing you the contents of my food pantry and demonstrating to you how certain ingredients are used. Together we will prepare some lunch and eat it together. After lunch I would like to introduce some non-food Macrobiotic Practices to you in the form of Do In (self massage) Shiatsu Massage and Hot Ginger Compress Treatments. You can either learn the basics of how to do this, have a complimentary treatment or both.
Depending on what time is left we can take a walk to the beach or continue straight on with the preparations for the evening meal, before dining together in the evening where you will have an opportunity to ask more questions and make notes. In the morning we will bid you farewell after breakfast, hopefully sending you happily off with a host of new skills to equip you with all you need to embark on your new healthy way of Macrobiotic Living.
People of all ages and walks of life who want to maintain or improve their health and also people who are recovering from illness and want to build up their immune system. Anyone who is suffering mental or physical fatigue or angst who needs inner strength and peace to overcome sadness and trauma which has left them low in spirit and enthusiasm for life. Basically, anyone who is responsible enough to at least test the water and give it a go. After all, the only thing you can possibly lose is unwanted body fat, because this way of eating will make it almost impossible to gain weight.
